In terms of software sales, top titles for the Switch include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Meanwhile, early indications suggest that the Switch 2 is selling faster than its predecessor, despite its higher price point.

Looking ahead, Nintendo’s success with the Switch 2 remains to be seen. Rising component costs due to the AI industry boom may prompt Nintendo to increase console prices in the near future.
