Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, initially perceived as a tropical paradise, is now described by his accusers as a place of horror hiding disturbing truths. The 75-acre property officially known as Little Saint James earned the ominous nickname “Paedophile Island” among locals due to the allegations of exploitation and sexual assault against minors that Epstein faced before his death in 2019.

Epstein purchased the island in 1998 for $7.95 million and transformed it into a secluded compound accessible only by private plane or boat. The estate boasts a stone manor, two guest lodges, a swimming pool, a temple, a helipad, a sundial, and breathtaking views of the surrounding clear waters.

During Epstein’s time as the primary resident, the island reportedly had a substantial staff and hosted numerous affluent and influential guests. However, the island gained notoriety for its dark activities, including accusations of child exploitation, human trafficking, and orgies.

Despite being a registered sex offender since 2008, Epstein continued to bring underage girls and young women to the island until his arrest in July 2019. After serving a partial sentence for solicitation of prostitution involving a minor, Epstein resumed his lavish lifestyle alongside influential acquaintances.

Following Epstein’s death, the FBI conducted searches on the island, which is now estimated to be worth over £45 million. Various victims, such as Sarah Ransome and Chauntae Davies, have come forward with harrowing accounts of abuse they endured while associated with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Airport staff in the US Virgin Islands reported witnessing Epstein with young girls who appeared to be minors, further adding to the disturbing narrative surrounding the island. Maxwell, convicted of aiding Epstein in his crimes, is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.
