Police have confirmed the discovery of a body while searching for the partner of Sir Mick Jagger’s granddaughter. The search for 37-year-old Alexander Key, who was last seen at a pub in Cornwall on January 23, has ended with the finding of a deceased man in Bude.
Devon and Cornwall Police announced today that a man’s body was found in the sea at Bude, and although formal identification is pending, authorities believe it to be Alexander Key, reported missing on January 24. The death is not considered suspicious, and preparations are underway for the coroner’s involvement.
Mr. Key’s family has expressed gratitude towards the police, HM Coastguard, and all individuals involved in the search efforts, requesting privacy during this difficult time. Previously, the police had sought help in locating Alexander Key, who shares two children with Assisi Jackson, the granddaughter of the Rolling Stones legend.
Jade Jagger, daughter of Mick Jagger and Assisi’s mother, shared the police appeal on her Instagram account. Key is a co-owner of The Rocket Store, a popular seafood restaurant in Boscastle, known for its use of fresh ingredients sourced locally. The restaurant features a notable painting by Assisi’s father, Piers, depicting a star constellation.
