WWE 2K26 is set to launch on March 12, boasting an extensive lineup of over 400 superstars. Players who pre-order select special editions can access the game a week early, starting from March 6. Regardless of the edition chosen, the core roster remains the same, with each special edition offering unique perks such as alternative versions of popular superstars in bonus packs.
The special editions like the King of Kings edition feature iconic gears for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon inspired by their 1998 and 2000 appearances. The Attitude Era edition includes a 1999 version of The Rock, while the Monday Night War edition showcases late-1990s versions of WCW’s top stars.
Insiders have confirmed 129 characters so far on the WWE 2K26 roster, with seven new additions not seen in WWE 2K25. These include two regular WWE main roster wrestlers, one surprise Wrestlemania 41 performer, and four NXT talents. Notably, two of the NXT stars are former All Elite Wrestling competitors – Blake Monroe (previously Mariah May) and Ricky Saints (formerly Ricky Starks).
The confirmed new WWE 2K26 superstars are part of an exciting lineup leading to the game’s release next month. Additionally, three Wrestlemania 42 personas are yet to be unveiled as part of the Monday Night War Edition bonus pack.
