A woman shared her harrowing experience of being coerced out of her home, abducted, Tasered, and taken to a desolate moorland during a terrifying ordeal lasting 12 hours, which left her with PTSD.

During a trial, it was revealed that the victim was unlawfully confined at two locations, subjected to a Taser attack, and strip searched before being transported to the moors with threats of abandonment.

Janzib Rigby, a money lender, and Kimberley Green were sentenced for their involvement in the abduction of a 28-year-old woman, described as ‘vulnerable’ and a drug user, who was lured into Green’s residence.

The court proceedings highlighted the severe impact on the victim, with the judge condemning the defendants for their roles in the traumatic incident. Rigby and Green received prison sentences, while three others involved were also punished.

The events unfolded when Green encountered the woman in a neighborhood in Oldham and deceived her into entering a property under false pretenses, setting off a series of distressing events leading to the victim’s psychological suffering.

The victim endured physical and emotional abuse at the hands of the perpetrators, including being Tasered and subjected to a degrading search, while her distress prompted her to seek help from her mother, who contacted the authorities.

After being moved to a second location, the victim was eventually taken to Saddleworth Moor, where she faced further threats before being rescued by the police late at night. The woman’s statement in court detailed the lasting mental health issues she has since faced.

The judge handed down sentences to the defendants, emphasizing the cruelty and inhumanity displayed towards the victim. Rigby was sentenced to eight years in prison, while Green received a five-year sentence. The other individuals involved were also penalized accordingly.
