A storm named Chandra has brought heavy rain and strong winds across the United Kingdom, prompting residents to use umbrellas in London’s chilly single-digit temperatures, while those in the northern regions are dealing with snowfall.

The Met Office has issued a series of new weather warnings for the UK, including nine alerts split between eight yellow warnings and one rare amber alert. These warnings cover numerous areas spanning from Plymouth to the Scottish Highlands, encompassing a significant distance.
