A 23-year-old British tourist who fell into the ocean in Australia has been found deceased. The body washed ashore at Billies Beach in Corrunna, prompting a search effort. Police confirmed the identity of the missing tourist and will report to the coroner.

The man fell from a cliff into the ocean on January 18, leading to a large search operation involving police, marine rescue, and a helicopter. Despite extensive efforts, he did not resurface after the fall. Chief Inspector Shane Jessep mentioned that the man slipped on the rocks while sightseeing with a friend and was not a rock fisherman.

The search for the missing individual was recently scaled down. This tragic incident follows the death of another British tourist, Eleanor Thompson, in a cyclone in New South Wales. Thompson, who had been traveling for three years, was crushed by her van during the storm. Originally from Mold, she had been living in London for 12 years before embarking on her solo travels to various countries.
