Hannah Ingram-Moore, the daughter of the late Captain Sir Tom Moore, is facing a significant decline in her business fortunes. Her company, Club Nook, which had reserves totaling £484,894, is now valued at just £850. This change comes as scrutiny mounts over allegations that Hannah and her husband, Colin, allegedly withheld funds from a book deal amounting to £800,000 intended for charitable causes associated with Captain Tom.
An investigation by the Charity Commission in November 2024 revealed that the Ingram-Moores had orchestrated financial maneuvers to capitalize on Captain Tom’s fame. Among the questionable actions was the construction of a luxury spa on their property under the guise of the Captain Tom Foundation, leading to an order to dismantle the facility.
Various other businesses linked to the family have also experienced financial setbacks. Matrix Group Limited, a consultancy established in 2010, reported a deficit of £117,880 as of August 2024, contrasting with a surplus of £196,000 in August 2021. Paull and Dilley Limited, another consultancy managed by Hannah and Colin, is currently in the red by £34,226.
Moreover, Tredwell Success Limited, founded in 2020, is now operating at a loss of £3,530, a stark contrast to its £23,820 profit in 2022. Whitaker Global Limited, a management consultancy established in 2015, is also facing financial challenges, being £14,250 in debt as of January 2025, compared to a positive balance of £60,202 in January 2022.
The 1189808 Foundation, previously known as the Captain Tom Foundation, retains £131,110 as of November 30, 2024. Notably, Club Nook Limited, which received a substantial advance payment of £1.47 million for Captain Tom’s books, now holds reserves of just £850 as of April 2025, down from £484,894 in April 2021.
Despite these financial difficulties, Hannah Ingram-Moore continues to engage with her audience through “Moore Moments” videos on YouTube, showcasing inspiring narratives on resilience. However, these videos attract modest viewership, often garnering less than 200 views. On her website, she identifies herself as an author, motivational speaker, and business mentor.
Captain Tom Moore gained global acclaim for his fundraising efforts, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he raised nearly £40 million for NHS charities by completing 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday. Following his passing, he received tributes from dignitaries, celebrities, and the general public. Ingram-Moore declined to provide a statement on the current situation.
