In Argentina, a 12-year-old boy, known for his social media posts with guns and motorcycles, was allegedly shot and killed by police following a chase on January 20. The incident occurred in Tres de Febrero, where officers attempted to stop a hatchback carrying suspects who then fled and exchanged gunfire with the police.

During the pursuit, two armed adults abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot, leaving behind the lifeless body of the young boy, identified as Uriel Alejandro Giménez, inside the car. Medical responders confirmed that he succumbed to gunshot wounds, including one to the chest. The tragic event unfolded in the early hours of January 20 in the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

The case has been labeled as “homicide aggravated by firearm use,” with one police officer facing charges. Authorities are actively searching for the fugitives involved in the shooting. Uriel, also known as Chispita, had a history with the law, having been detained previously for concealing a crime. He was laid to rest in Tres de Febrero on January 21.

His sister, Kiara, paid an emotional tribute online, expressing her love and sorrow for her departed brother. The family and community mourn the loss of Uriel, whose social media presence often depicted him with motorcycles and firearms.
