Sky has unveiled upcoming price adjustments for certain broadband and TV customers starting in April. The majority of broadband subscribers can expect a monthly increase of £3, with premium TV packages rising by £1 to £3. Sky will notify customers of these changes beginning today.
Under its variable pricing system, Sky allows customers on minimum term contracts to cancel without incurring early termination fees amidst the price hikes set to take effect in April. On a positive note, millions of TV customers will soon have HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu included in their packages as standard.
Netflix is already part of the offering, bringing the total value of streaming services to £20 per month. Sky emphasized its commitment to minimizing the impact of price hikes, ensuring its customers experience some of the lowest increases in the market. These adjustments are aimed at supporting investments in fast broadband, top-notch entertainment, live sports, and reliable services while managing industry-wide cost escalations.
Recently, Sky Mobile customers witnessed bill increases, with most facing a £1.50 monthly rise, totaling an annual increment of £18. Some customers might experience varied adjustments. The higher charges will be reflected in bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first price alteration for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years.
In case customers are dissatisfied with the price surge and are within the minimum contract period, they have the option to cancel without penalty. The price of the Sky Mobile social tariff for low-income individuals will remain unchanged. Out-of-contract customers are encouraged to review their mobile and broadband expenses to potentially save money by comparing prices, assessing their actual usage, and exploring alternative providers or renegotiating with their current one. Eligible customers receiving benefits should inquire about discounted social tariffs.
