“Chinese E-Commerce Giant Joybuy Launching in UK with 100,000 Products”

A major Chinese e-commerce platform is gearing up to launch in the UK next month, aiming to attract British consumers seeking good deals. Joybuy, owned by Jingdong (JD.com), a prominent Chinese company with a massive customer base in China, is set to introduce over 100,000 product lines in March.

The move by Joybuy follows a trend of Chinese companies directly selling to UK customers. Unlike some other Chinese retailers like Shein and Temu, Joybuy focuses on providing quality products from authentic brands. Their product range spans from electronics and gaming to food and beverages, with enticing deals such as discounted mineral water and electronics.

Joybuy stands out by offering same-day and next-day delivery in major cities through its advanced logistics system. They boast a fleet of trucks, vans, and electric bicycles operating from numerous warehouses across Europe to ensure swift delivery services. According to Axel Eggenwirth, a senior director at Jingdong Logistics, this initiative will enhance supply chain logistics capabilities across various sectors.

JD.com, the parent company of Joybuy, has recently established a new head office in Westminster and has been actively recruiting senior staff from British retail companies. Liu Qiangdong, the billionaire founder, has ambitious plans to expand the company’s presence globally. Despite considering acquisitions in the past, JD.com has focused on enhancing its own operations and service offerings to cater to the UK market.
