“Iran Warns of Swift Retaliation Against Aggression”

Iran has issued a strong warning, declaring readiness to swiftly retaliate against any form of aggression. The statement came from Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in response to threats made by Donald Trump to deploy a significant military force towards Iran.

Tensions between the Trump administration and Iran have been escalating for over a month due to anti-government protests in Iran resulting in numerous fatalities. Trump has been pushing for Iran to engage in negotiations regarding nuclear weapons. Recently, he raised the stakes by announcing the dispatch of the US navy to Iran, drawing parallels to actions taken in Venezuela.

In response, Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized the country’s preparedness to counter any aggression, highlighting the readiness of the Armed Forces to respond promptly and forcefully to protect their territory. Araghchi reiterated Iran’s openness to a fair nuclear deal that upholds peaceful nuclear technology while ensuring the absence of nuclear weapons in the country’s defense strategy.

Iran’s Mission to the UN also pledged an unprecedented response if provoked, emphasizing a commitment to dialogue but a firm stance on self-defense. Advisor to the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned that any US military strike would be considered the beginning of a war with severe consequences.

Trump reiterated his stance on social media platform Truth Social, expressing the deployment of a substantial naval fleet towards Iran and urging quick negotiations for a mutually beneficial agreement. He emphasized the urgency of reaching a deal and the potential consequences of failure, citing past military actions as a reference point.

The situation remains tense as both sides exchange warnings and calls for dialogue, with the looming threat of military escalation.
