“Highguard Game Update Introduces New 5v5 Raid Mode”

Wildlight Entertainment has swiftly followed up on the recent significant patch release for the popular free-to-play game Highguard with yet another substantial update. While the previous update brought in new video features and fixed bugs, the latest download introduces an exciting addition: a new 5v5 Raid Mode for players to dive into.

This fresh game mode complements the existing 3v3 option and offers players ten lives instead of the usual six, with slightly extended respawn times. However, it is worth noting that this 5v5 mode is only accessible for a limited time, urging players to act promptly to experience it before it disappears. Wildlight has stated that the mode will be available for the weekend, with hopes for a potential return in the future.

In addition to the 5v5 Raids, the update also brings the new Soul Well base to all rotations, along with various quality of life enhancements and optimizations, such as the Motion Blur toggle.

The 5v5 Raid Mode is presented as an experimental playlist that runs separately from the 3v3 Raids, allowing parties of five to participate during its duration. The lobby has been adjusted to accommodate these larger groups, providing an opportunity for intense raid experiences. The new Raids feature 10 lives and longer respawn times, offering a different gameplay dynamic.

Moreover, the update includes a new base, the Soul Well, which will be included in all modes’ rotations. Optimizations have been made to enhance animation performance, projectile behaviors, draw submission times, and other gameplay systems, benefiting both console and PC players. The quality of life improvements also extends to visual settings, including the addition of a Motion Blur toggle for PC and console users, as well as an Anisotropic materials toggle exclusive to consoles.
