Beauty brand Malin + Goetz has entered administration and closed all seven of its stores in the UK. The affected stores are located in various areas of London, including Seven Dials, Soho, Spitalfields, Islington, Canary Wharf, Battersea Power Station, and Borough Yards, impacting over 70 jobs.

Online orders from Malin + Goetz have been temporarily halted, with a message on their website indicating this pause. However, customers can still purchase their products through third-party retailers like Liberty, John Lewis, and Space NK.

A spokesperson from Malin+Goetz explained that after a thorough business review and considering all options, the decision was made to place the UK business into administration, leading to the closure of stores and the head office. The spokesperson expressed regret over the job losses but stated they were unavoidable.

There are plans to bring the website back online following a brief maintenance period, although the exact duration is uncertain. Malin + Goetz was founded in New York in 2004 by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, initially offering a small range of products for all skin types before expanding into fragrance, body care, and additional beauty categories.
