Emergency services responded to a hotel in Scotland to investigate an incident involving an unexplained death. Police, paramedics, and fire crews were observed outside the Kings Park hotel on Mill Street in Rutherglen following a report of a man’s death. Authorities stated that the incident occurred around 11 am on Sunday, 26 January, 2026, and the circumstances surrounding the death are currently under investigation.
Eyewitness Charlotte Pawsey mentioned the presence of six police cars, four fire trucks, a hazmat response unit, and two fire Marshals at the scene. Additionally, four ambulances, including two designated for incident response, were also on-site. Pawsey stated that authorities provided limited details, describing the situation as serious and not confirming the safety of all individuals involved.
