A mother of three from Britain was tragically killed in front of her children and discovered lying in a pool of blood.
The victim, identified as Victoria Hart, 33, was assaulted at her residence in Alhaurín el Grande, close to Malaga, Spain, over the weekend. Locals raised the alarm after hearing cries for help from the British woman’s house around 11:40 a.m. One resident entered the property and found Victoria on the floor surrounded by blood, with a kitchen knife beside her.
Heartfelt tributes have poured in for the beloved mother following the tragic incident.
Victoria’s three children, an 11-year-old boy, and twin 7-year-old girls, ran out of the house seeking assistance.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Victoria was pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed the arrest of a suspect shortly after the discovery of the victim.
The deceased mother, believed to have relocated from the West Midlands in the UK to Spain, operated a business from her residence where the tragic incident occurred, working as a hairstylist and beautician.
Condolences were shared for the victim on Facebook, with one individual writing: “RIP Victoria Hart. This news is heartbreaking.” They expressed their sympathy for the family during this difficult time.
Another acquaintance remarked: “I am devastated. This should never have happened. Those poor children. My deepest sympathies to Sue Hart and the entire family. Victoria will be greatly missed.”
A third individual wrote: “There are no words to describe the beauty and kindness of Victoria Hart. She will be missed dearly. My heart aches, and I still can’t believe it. Rest in peace, my angel. I will miss you more than words can express.” They added: “There are few people as exceptional as Victoria Hart.”
Neighbors revealed that the victim and her partner had been experiencing a tumultuous period and were reportedly separating, according to reports from Sur.
An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted later today. The suspect is set to appear in court tomorrow, where a judge is expected to remand him in custody pending further investigation.
A spokesperson for the Civil Guard in Malaga stated: “The Civil Guard is probing the death of a woman in Alhaurin el Grande. Her ex-partner has been apprehended as the alleged perpetrator.”
The Town Council of Alhaurin el Grande declared Monday an official day of mourning, expressing deep condolences to the victim’s family and friends. They strongly denounced the act of gender-based violence, emphasizing the need to eradicate this social issue that severely violates human rights.
