“Microsoft Unveils January Game Pass Lineup”

Microsoft has revealed the upcoming lineup of games set to join Xbox Game Pass in January 2026. Following Sony’s recent announcement of new PS Plus Extra titles, Microsoft has countered with an impressive array of additions to Game Pass.

Starting on January 21, players can access Death Stranding Director’s Cut on Game Pass. Initially exclusive to PlayStation consoles, Death Stranding, a creation by Hideo Kojima starring Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead, now features enhancements like high frame-rate support, a Photo Mode, and special content collaborations with Half Life and Cyberpunk 2077.

January 21 marks a significant day for new releases on Xbox Game Pass, with the inclusion of Roadcraft and the acclaimed Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. Ninja Gaiden Ragebound returns the series to its origins with 2D platforming action and retro pixel art style, garnering positive feedback from both fans and critics with an 84% Metacritic score and a Very Positive Rating on Steam.

The influx of new titles continues throughout the month, with The Talos Principle 2 arriving on January 27, followed by Anno: Mutationem and Drop Duchy on January 28. Subsequent releases include MySims: Cozy Bundle and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II on January 29, Indika on February 3, and Final Fantasy 2 on February 4.

Unfortunately, some titles will depart Xbox Game Pass on January 31, including Shady Part of Me, Cataclismo, Starbound, Lonely Mountains Snow Riders, Paw Patrol World, Citizen Sleeper 2, Starward Vector, and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap.
