Actress Helen Flanagan recently shared her surprise at receiving a bold message from Andrew Tate via direct message. The 35-year-old former Coronation Street star detailed the incident in her latest book, Head & Heart, revealing that the message came after they connected on the dating app Hinge.
Helen, who shares three children with her former fiancé Scott Sinclair, disclosed that the interaction took place post their split in 2022. Reflecting on her dating app experience, she admitted that not all interactions were welcome, especially recalling an encounter with the controversial influencer and male supremacist, Andrew Tate, 39.
In an excerpt from her book, Helen recounted how Andrew Tate messaged her with a query, “Sons?” followed by a heart emoji. Despite her initial shock, she found humor in the situation, clarifying that she did not respond.
However, Tate has denied the allegations through a spokesperson, dismissing them as entirely false. The representative stated that it has become a common trend for lesser-known public figures to mention his name during moments of heightened publicity for personal gain.
Helen also delved into other celebrity encounters in her book, including her relationship with former TOWIE star James Argent. She reminisced about their time together on the reality show, Celebrity Super Spa, where they bonded while working alongside other stars such as Rusty Lee, John Burton-Race, Jody Latham, and Yvette Fielding.
Describing her friendship with Arg, Helen revealed that although they shared a close bond, she was unsure about developing a romantic relationship with him due to her lingering feelings for Scott. Despite a fleeting spark between them, she decided against pursuing anything further, recognizing that rebounding with Arg would have been a mistake.
