My engagement with hockey grew over the years, from avidly following games to proudly displaying Oilers memorabilia in my home.
As my passion for hockey blossomed, paralleling my assimilation into Canadian society, I found a sense of belonging and connection through the sport.
Reviving the Passion
Upon relocating to Vancouver in 2016, I reignited my love for hockey, thanks to my partner Mike, a passionate hockey enthusiast.
Our shared love for the sport has become a cornerstone of our relationship, with hockey nights and game-watching rituals forming cherished moments for us.
Despite our differing backgrounds and preferences, we embrace our diversity, finding common ground and enjoyment in our shared interests.
