Epic Games made the announcement on X, revealing details about the server maintenance and when matchmaking services will be disabled. According to a tweet from Epic, “Downtime for v39.30 begins at 4 AM ET with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand.”
For fans in the UK, Fortnite will go offline completely at 9am GMT, with matchmaking disabled at 8.30am UK time. This translates to 1am PDT / 4am EDT for US players and 10am CET for European fans.
As per the Epic Games server status page, maintenance is expected to last for 90 minutes. Consequently, Fortnite and its associated game modes should be back online by 10.30am GMT. For players in different regions, this corresponds to 2.30am PDT / 5.30am EDT / 11.30am CET.
