“Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 & Xbox”

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is set to launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The reimagined version of the beloved PSOne role-playing classic will become available on January 22 for these consoles, marking nearly six years since its original release on PS4 and five years since its debut on PS5 and PC.

This new release will include the base game alongside the Episode Intermission DLC featuring Yuffie. It will also introduce several quality of life enhancements, some of which will be accessible to PS5 and PC players through a complimentary update.

Players who own the PS5 or PC editions of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will receive a free update on January 22, as announced by Square Enix. This update will bring additional gameplay options, including the Streamlined mode designed to make the game more accessible for newcomers and less experienced players.

The Streamlined mode offers boosted attack capabilities, unlimited health, and magic for a more straightforward gaming experience. An official tweet confirmed that a patch will be released for the PS5 and PC versions to align with the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2 & Xbox, featuring Streamlined Progression enhancements such as maintaining full HP and MP levels and dealing consistent 9,999 damage.

For those short on time but eager to enjoy the narrative, the Streamlined mode presents an appealing option.
