Embark Studios has rolled out the latest update, version 1.13.0, for ARC Raiders in January. The update, detailed on the studio’s blog, marks the beginning of four months of new content for the popular extraction shooter. Among the key highlights of the 1.13.0 update is the introduction of the Solo vs Squads mode, exclusively available to players at level 40 and above. This mode pits solo players against both solo and grouped players, offering a more challenging PvP experience. Participants will receive a 20% bonus XP regardless of the match outcome.
Additionally, players can now engage in the new Trophy Display feature, a long-term project that involves hunting down elusive ARC enemies to unlock various rewards such as Raider Tokens, coins, and emotes. A fresh permanent map condition in the Buried City introduces shiny objects on rooftops, left behind by birds nesting in the chimneys. However, players should be cautious of increased activity on rooftops and airborne ARC patrols in the vicinity.
