Delta Force, developed by Tencent’s Team Jade, offers intense 32v32 multiplayer battles encompassing both infantry combat and vehicular warfare. Reminiscent of Battlefield’s gameplay, Delta Force is gearing up for its fifth season, enhancing the similarities further.

A recent teaser for Delta Force’s upcoming season showcases a massive skyscraper collapsing, causing a ripple effect across the map, reminiscent of an earthquake, toppling players to the ground.

Fans familiar with the iconic Battlefield 4 map, Siege of Shanghai, have drawn parallels between Delta Force’s teaser and the ability to bring down a towering structure in the center of the map, altering the battlefield dynamics drastically.

While Battlefield 6 faces a decline in player numbers post its strong launch, Delta Force is thriving with an impressive player base on Steam, exceeding Battlefield 6’s current peak player count twofold.

However, despite its popularity, Delta Force is not without criticism. Drawing comparisons to the disappointing Battlefield 2042, Delta Force incorporates hero-like Specialist mechanics and futuristic gadgets, diverging from the traditional modern military setting.

As Delta Force prepares for its upcoming ‘Morphosis’ season starting on February 3, Battlefield 6’s Season 2 is scheduled to commence on February 17, setting the stage for a potential shift in the multiplayer shooter landscape.
