A British tourist passed away shortly after arriving at a hotel in Caye Caulker island, Belize, with witnesses hearing a loud noise. The 52-year-old man checked into the Casa Vista Hotel on Monday, and within a day, neighbors heard a loud sound.
Upon investigating, they discovered the man unconscious on the ground and promptly took him to the Caye Caulker Health Center. Despite medical efforts, the man tragically died later that evening. Authorities have initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Officer Stacy Smith from the Caye Caulker police indicated that on October 28, 2025, officers responded to a report of an unconscious male at the Caye Caulker Health Clinic. The man later succumbed to his injuries. Initial information suggests that several individuals in the vicinity heard a noise, leading to the discovery of the man on the ground and his subsequent transport to the clinic.
The cause of the man’s injuries remains unclear at this time. This incident follows the recent discovery of a deceased British man in Malta.
