ARC Raiders emerged as a standout success of 2025 among multiplayer enthusiasts, introducing the extraction shooter genre to a wider audience. The recently concluded Cold Snap event over the holiday season received high praise, and the game’s developer has now unveiled a roadmap outlining upcoming content for the next four months.
In a post on the official blog of the game, the developer celebrated the commencement of ARC Raiders’ live service for the first full year. The developer, Embark, has committed to providing fresh content on a monthly basis, setting a remarkable standard compared to other struggling shooters like Battlefield 6.
While specific details are currently limited, an infographic has been released highlighting the general themes anticipated in ARC Raiders over the next four months.
The forthcoming event in January, named ‘Headwinds,’ is scheduled for release on January 27, 2026. It will introduce a new matchmaking feature for players above level 40, enabling solo players to compete against squads. Additionally, a new map condition involving a sandstorm element is planned, along with a new player project known as ‘ARC Trophy Display.’
February will mark the Shrouded Sky event, featuring the opening of the second Expedition Window. This optional system allows experienced players to reset their progress for XP rewards.
