Before hosting the latest show on Heart Breakfast, Amanda took to her Instagram to honor Hollie with a heartfelt message alongside photos and a video capturing precious memories from Hollie’s childhood.

Reflecting on her daughter’s special day during a conversation with her co-host Jamie Theakston, Amanda expressed her emotions as she reminisced about Hollie’s growth over the years. She shared how watching a video of Hollie as a two-year-old brought tears to her eyes, longing for the innocence of those early years.

Amanda fondly described Hollie as their “firecracker” and praised her for being sassy and talented. She humorously compared her toddler self to her teenage daughter, highlighting the joys and challenges of parenting a teenager.

Amanda, who shares Hollie and her eldest daughter Lexi with her husband Chris Hughes, opened up about her desire for more children in the past. However, she acknowledged that their family size is now settled and expressed interest in rescuing more animals, hinting at adding another furry friend to their household.

The couple already cares for rescue dog Rudie and cat Muffy from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Additionally, Amanda adopted a cat named Bolt after a memorable encounter during her vacation in Greece.
