A new TV judge has emerged on the scene, stepping into the spotlight with big shoes to fill. CBS Media Ventures unveiled a trailer for “Adam’s Law,” a fresh syndicated daytime courtroom series featuring Adam Levy, the 58-year-old son of the renowned Judge Judy.
Fans of the iconic TV judge will find familiarity in Levy’s courtroom demeanor, characterized by sharp wit and a no-nonsense attitude. In the trailer, Levy showcases his quick-witted remarks, reminiscent of his mother’s famed courtroom presence.
Despite initial hesitation, Judge Judy herself, Judith Sheindlin, acknowledges her son’s talent but admits that she wasn’t ready to pass on the gavel years ago. The new series, premiering on September 14 and executive produced by Sheindlin, promises to deliver the same level of courtroom drama and commitment to justice that made the original “Judge Judy” a household name.
With over 25 years of legal experience and a background as a district attorney, Levy emphasizes the importance of truth in his courtroom. Confident in her son’s abilities, Judge Judy predicts that “Adam’s Law” will become a top daytime program, citing Levy’s entertaining personality and legal expertise.
Having previously appeared as a judge on courtroom reality TV shows, Levy is ready to take on his new role in “Adam’s Law.” The series will air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S., including CBS LA and WCBS-TV, as well as in Canada on Citytv and Citytv+ starting September 14.
