Sky has announced a major change for 2026 with the introduction of a new Ultimate plan that merges its premium channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky One, and Sky Documentaries with Netflix and Disney+ for a single monthly fee. The upcoming HBO Max will also be included in the package upon its launch, providing subscribers with access to a variety of popular shows at no extra cost. Additionally, later this year, viewers will gain entry to Hayu, offering a diverse range of reality TV content to UK audiences.
Even though the full launch of Hayu is set for July, Sky has surprised fans by offering an early sneak peek. The “Taste of Hayu” update is now live, granting viewers access to over 150 episodes from some of the platform’s most sought-after franchises, including Below Deck Mediterranean, The Real Housewives series, and Vanderpump Rules.
This preview is accessible to Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with the Ultimate TV package, as well as Sky Q and Sky+ users, allowing selected seasons to be watched on demand.
The complete rollout of Hayu in July will unlock the entire catalogue, enabling reality enthusiasts to enjoy numerous additional series. Furthermore, new episodes of major shows will be available on the same day as their US airing, all included within the Sky TV offering.
In a statement, Sky expressed excitement for reality fans, highlighting that select Hayu shows are now available for Sky TV subscribers as a preview of what’s to come before the full launch in July. Hayu will join Netflix and Disney+ in the Ultimate package, while HBO Max is set to join next week, with the full integration of Hayu following later in the year.
The new £24 package will include Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads starting from March, HBO Max Basic with Ads launching in the UK & Ireland on 26 March, full access to Hayu from July with preview content available from March, and over 130 Sky channels.
