Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay Escape Family Drama in Lavish Mauritius Honeymoon

Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have chosen a luxurious honeymoon retreat to relax after a public family dispute that overshadowed their wedding. The couple is currently enjoying a lavish stay in Mauritius at a high-end five-star resort with rates exceeding £6,000 per night.

Their secluded resort, located on a private peninsula along the island’s coast, offers them a peaceful escape from the family conflicts they faced back home. Despite the tensions, the Olympic swimmer, 31, and his wife Holly, 26, exchanged vows at Bath Abbey on December 27. Unfortunately, their joyous occasion was marred by disagreements within Adam’s family.

Leading up to the wedding, Adam had disagreements with his mother, Caroline, and brother, James, resulting in only his sister Bethany attending the ceremony. The discord reportedly originated from Caroline being excluded from Holly’s pre-wedding celebration, sparking a series of arguments before the event.

While the family situation remains unresolved, Adam and Holly are focusing on their honeymoon, which was postponed to accommodate Adam’s swimming commitments in Romania before they embarked on their trip to Mauritius.

During their stay, the couple was seen enjoying the resort’s amenities, including the pristine beach. Holly shared glimpses of their vacation on Instagram, showcasing moments lounging by the sea and relaxing beside a pool.

The extravagant honeymoon was a gift from Holly’s parents, Gordon and Tana Ramsay, who treated the couple to this opulent experience. Holly expressed her excitement for the laid-back beach holiday, emphasizing that they are not centering their honeymoon around a swimming pool.

Their trip follows a tumultuous wedding day where family tensions were evident. Gordon Ramsay reportedly made a controversial comment about Adam’s mother during his speech, and Adam chose not to mention his parents in his address. Instead, he praised his coach, Mel Marshall, likening her to a mother figure, while Caroline expressed her sadness at being excluded from her son’s wedding.

The resort they are staying at has a rich history, hosting notable guests like Nelson Mandela, Rihanna, George and Amal Clooney, and members of the royal family. Villas on the estate have been sold for exorbitant prices, with guests having the option to arrive by helicopter.

As the newlyweds savor their honeymoon experience, they are savoring moments of peace and relaxation amidst the beautiful surroundings of Mauritius.
