“Vehicles Collide in Ashton-under-Lyne, Car Crashes into Garden”

Two vehicles collided in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, resulting in one car crashing through a hedge and landing in a garden. Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, responded to the incident on Ladbrooke Road at the junction of Sycamore Crescent just before 6:30 pm on Sunday.

At the scene, a rapid response ambulance, along with firefighters and police officers, attended to the situation. Both cars sustained significant front-end damage, with one vehicle coming to a stop in the middle of the road near a roundabout, while the other ended up in a nearby garden, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

Following the collision, the road was closed for investigation, and residents reported the presence of a police helicopter circling overhead. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed their response to the incident, stating that firefighters from Stalybridge Community Fire Station worked with the police to secure the area and remained on-site for approximately an hour.

Authorities have reached out to Greater Manchester Police for further comments on the incident.
